Our School

St Ninian's Episcopal Primary School has a long and proud history in Perth.  The school was established in the nineteenth century and was originally housed in the Cathedral building, moving to its present site in 1977.  Any child living within the Scottish Episcopal Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane and also living within the Perth and Kinross Council boundary may apply to come to our school by filling in a placing request.

The school has not been exclusively for Episcopalian children; families of all cultural and religious backgrounds having been welcomed over the years.

Located at the foot of Dunkeld Road, our school is one of the closest to the heart of the city centre.  Even though we enjoy a central location the school atmosphere is very much one of a close big family.

We aim to be a school which is friendly, welcoming, inclusive and fair, trustworthy and honest, encouraging and caring; where everyone is confident, responsible and proud of all our achievements and feels safe and nurtured within an atmosphere of purposeful, educational fun.
