P5/6/7
Primary 5/6/7 have had a very busy term 2. Our learning context was The World of Work, and we all researched our own job, finding out about skills and qualities needed, as well as qualifications, training and salary. We used this research to create and present our own PowerPoint presentations to our class and two of our classmates gave us feedback on our presentation so that we can build on this for our next one. We visited the theatre to learn about roles in that work environment and we also interviewed residents at Kincarrathie House about their experiences and memories of their working lives. At the close of our topic, we held a job fair when the P3/4/5 class visited us to find out about our different jobs.
We have continued to access Perth Grammar School each Monday for netball and some Fridays for football. With Mr Phillips, we have been learning to code, which is trickier than many of us thought! We have once again had the opportunity to visit Perth Museum (as part of the Gannochy Trust school group), this time to experience the ‘Waters Rising’ exhibition. So, a very busy term!
